I`ll find myself on quite some concerts within the next weeks. the start was the
SYSTEMATIC DEATH show in London and the follow up was
MÖNSTER &
GROWING MOVEMENT in Munich. I was really looking forward to this concert as I was expecting to meet quite a few old friends there. the people that went with me were already drunken when we started our trip but to my surprise they didn´t go on my nerves with asking the usual "could you stop I´ve to piss/throw up/whatever..." question every 10 minutes. when we arrived in Munich the 1st member of our travelcrew was nearly dead. sad but true Mikes and Vulcano from
PARANOIA KEEPS CRAWLING didn´t show up as promised. but many other people I hadn´t seen in years where there. at 10 o´clock
MÖNSTER got ready to hit the stage. there weren´t as many people there as I´d expected to be but enough to have a cool party. my old friend Cl.Aus-Rotten plays bass for
MÖNSTER on this tour as it will be their last tour. so this was their final chance to rock Munich and they did -
MÖNSTER really played a great show and I videotaped it! then
GROWING MOVEMENT entered the stage. their singer suffers from a very evil form of multiple sclerosis and had to sit during their whole set. some minutes before he went on stage he told me how having to sit sucks and I told him how proud I am of him as he does it anyway! their set was like a party. 80% of the people in the crowd new each other for years, everybody was singing along (I was ordered on stage to help out on the backing vocals) and the former singer of
BOOT DOWN THE DOOR sumed it up like this: just as if they´d never stopped to play! and I agree 100% with him! on sunday
MÖNSTER will play in my hometown and I´ll be there!
some more MÖNSTER pics.!
